What? You expected I’d end this year without one last hike? Pshhh, you so crayy-zeee.
Pictures later, of course!
Have a beautiful, active final day of 2011!
January is coming and you know what that means? Resolution time. I’ve never been one for resolutions. Well, not before, anyway.
This year, though, I’ll be turning 30. Instead of wallowing in thoughts about my mortality, I’m committed to pushing myself to learn and experience even more of what life has to offer before it’s over.
Because of that, I will be making resolutions this year. To keep me focused. To keep me on track. To keep me achieving.
The first resolution i’m calling No Vice January. All of January i will be giving up my vices. I will go to bed early, stay hydrated, work out regularly (3x a week min) and not drink any booze. I will get into weightlifting and know what all of the machines in the gym do and how to use them. I will feed my body healthy, organic, balanced meals made with love.
I will give myself the greatest new years gift: a chance to detox.
The second resolution I have is getting a specific certification for work.
The third resolution is to plan my trip for my 30th birthday. I’m not 100% on the destination yet. Suggestions welcome.
My fourth resolution is to do yoga at least once a week for mental clarity and stretching.
No Vice January. It’s gonna feel so good!
day 3 of my vacation and I’m headed out for a 5 mile hike with my 17 year old stepsister. :)
Love it!
Time to master the weight room like the pros do! ;)
So excited!!
Heading to the gym with my MOM.
There’s a first time for everything! :)
I’ll be doing a 10 minute jogging warmup on the treadmill, weights (heavier than the ones I have at home, yay!), abs, lunges, cool down with a 10 minute walk and then find my way into the jacuzzi and sauna.
Awwwwwww yeahhhh.
